Sunshade Blind Systems Ltd of Corby, Northants have introduced another range of blind system to their range of hermetically sealed units, Sunshade 3 is our new electric blind and compliments our Sunshade 1&2 manual systems and is offered in a wide range of colours, by introducing this type of blind strengthens our position as market leaders in the field of integral blind systems in the UK writes Ian Woolley, Manager of Sunshade Blind Systems Ltd.

With the increased popularity of bi-folding doors for both residential homes and commercial developments, Sunshade Blinds are the ideal ‘value added’ solution.

Exclusively manufactured under license by GlassTeq Sealed Units Ltd , a UK leader in domestic and commercial blind manufacturer and large scale insulating glass manufacturer, the blinds are designed to fit within either a standard 18, 20, or 27mm cavity and can be made using any configuration of glass.

Sunshade Blinds are hermetically sealed within an airtight cavity and conform to BS EN 1279-2, once sealed Sunshade Blinds are oblivious to dust, moisture and abuse, offering an improvement in acoustics, privacy, solar glare, and becoming more energy efficient.

Our manual Sunshade Blinds 1 & 2 are operated in two separate simple ways, either by a rotational magnet or by a sliding magnet, both on the external surface of the glass; both are an ideal hygiene solution for homes, offices, hospitals, schools and colleges, in fact a new use has been in the growth of the Home Garden office and Mick from leading manufacturer The Qube explains ‘ I needed something different to offer clients and this fitted the bill perfectly, as it does away with the need to drill the window frame for traditional blinds and has a wide range of colours to choose from, most of our customers have opted for the Sunshade option ’.
